Privacy Policy

Athle (“we”, “us”) is a free daily sports guessing game. We keep data collection to a minimum. You do not need an account to play, and we do not sell your personal information. This policy explains what we store and why.

To save your progress, streaks and statistics, Athle stores data in your browser's local storage, for example today's guesses, your win streak, and which sport you last played. This stays on your device, is not sent to us as personal data, and you can clear it any time by clearing your browser storage.

We use privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics (such as Vercel Analytics and PostHog) to understand how the game is used, for example how many people play each day and which features are popular. This helps us improve Athle. We use an anonymous identifier to de-duplicate plays; it is not linked to your real-world identity.

Athle may display ads served by third parties such as Google AdSense. These partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show relevant ads and measure performance. You can learn about and control personalised advertising through Google's Ads Settings and your browser's cookie controls. Where required, we will ask for your consent before enabling personalised ads.

Beyond the local storage described above, cookies on Athle are primarily used by the analytics and advertising partners listed here. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the game will still work, though your stats and streaks rely on local storage.

Athle is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
